League Fundraiser - Dress rehearsal for EVITA. CPCC's theater department is graciously offering our League members the opportunity to host a unique fundraiser at the beautifully restored Halton Theater. Come out and support both the League and the students by providing the cast with an audience during their final dress rehearsal of "Evita." This smash-hit Broadway musical, with lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber, tells the story of Evita Peron, the dynamic and tragic leader of Argentina. A Tony-award winning show, Evita has been translated into 14 languages and has enjoyed over 40 years of success in the West End and on Broadway.

Family and friends are most welcome. Please RSVP no later than Thursday, February 8 to: debbie.snowdon@yahoo.com (although reservations are not required, the theater manager will hold front section seats for our group when we provide an estimated headcount). Price is $12, please pay by cash or check at the door. This is a non-ticketed event. There are ample seats available, however seating is on a first-come basis.
