VOTER GIRL 2026, designed by LWV for Girl Scouts of America, is a day of civic engagement, citizenship and advocacy projects.

50 Girl Scouts are registered for this event, levels Second grade to High School Seniors. 

Elected officials District Judge Alyssa Levine, School Board members Liz Monterrey Duvall and Shamaiye Haynes join LWV volunteers to share their experience as women in government positions. Charlotte’s nonprofit Generation Nation students model leadership behavior by example, and Kristin Mavromatis, Program Information Manager for Mecklenburg County Board of Elections, gives scouts an authentic voting experience with mobile voting machines. Miss Queen City 2025 Maayan Eaves, returns
to continue promoting civic engagement. This is an inspiring and fun event for all participants.
