NC Voter Registration Information
North Carolina has revised the voter registration form. One of the key sections - Section 3 - requires Voter Identification Information - (1) Date of Birth and (2) NC Driver's License or DMV State ID, or Free Voter ID issued by your county Board of Elections or US Passport or passport card or various other NC State Board of Elections-approved forms of ID.

Note: "If you have an NC driver's license or NCDMV ID number you must provide this number. If not, you must provide the last four digits of your social security number. If you have none of these ID numbers and you are registering to vote for the first time in North Carolina, you must check the box indicating that you do not have these forms of identification."
The voter registration cannot be processed if Section 3 is not completed.
