Help the LWV of Charlotte Mecklenburg Keep Charlotte Beautiful! We have adopted several streets near the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections office, and work together to clean these areas at least three times per year. Meet us at the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections office parking lot where you can leave your car. We will proceed on foot from there. Equipment for collecting litter such as safety vests, work gloves, grabber tongs and garbage/recycling bags will be provided. The route totals approximately one mile in distance. Expect the cleanup to take us about one hour or so. If we get a large enough crew, we will also be affixing markers to storm drains along our dedicated route.
